Kevin Murphy is pleased to be the new Owner and Golf Professional at Bradford Country Club. He has been teaching junior golf for almost 20 years at his family's course, Garrison Golf Center. Kevin has been mentoring juniors as the golf coach at Haverhill High School since 1998. He was awarded the Merrimack Valley Golf Coach of the Year in 2010.
Kevin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Providence College, where during his senior year (1993-1994) he lead the golf team to win the Big East Championship. He has competed in numerous Massachusetts Golf Association tournaments; his most prominent win being in 1997, when he won the MGA Public Links Tournament.
Kevin is pleased to offer golf lessons for all skill levels. He is a strong teacher, accomplished player and a consummate promoter of the game of golf. Kevin creates a welcoming atmosphere for family and friends to enjoy the game of golf. His well-defined curriculum for juniors of instruction, etiquette, and rules gives his young students a firm footing in how to play and enjoy golf. Kevin personally instructs the youngest juniors in all of his clinics because he enjoys the honor and responsibility of introducing young golfers to the game. His commitment to making golf a family experience is further displayed by his creation of many activities held at Garrison Golf Center in Haverhill.
